how can i tell if my cat has pulled a muscle in her leg?

when i called my cat in this evening she was under a bush and when i called her she got up and it looked like her paw was caught on something she came over put she was hopping a lot i took her down to my vets and they could not feel swelling or breaks and no fracture she had some pain when they stretched out her back leg. she did fracture her pelvis a while back but this time round she can walk a little on it as before she was not able to walk on it at all and with every movement she would cry in pain this time no crying when she walks do you think she has pulled a muscle in her leg if so how long will it take for her to walk on it i will be putting her on cage rest for 3 days to rest her legs she has also had a painkilling injection to help her please help i love my cat to bits x

possibly, but you would expect some swelling with that-she may have just stubbed it or have been stung buy something, it should heal in a few days - if she's still limping in a week id recomend another vet trip
