what should i do about this guy that i can't stand?

soo there is this guy at my school that is just sooo cocky...like its kind of ridiculous he is so full of himself. i can't even have a normal conversation with him caz he always says stupid stuff like "emily i know u think im super hott dont lie to urself' and all this other crap that is so immature. plus he wears like neon green shirts, popped collar, bright pink shorts, high black socks, etc etc...i used to actually be his friend before he was this bad and i actually hooked up with him one summer when i liked him. but now he is just such a jerk and always bugs me about EVERYTHING he gives me no space and always gets too involved with my life...he is driving me crazy i can't stand him, what should i do?!

well...
he uses everything he has to get attention.

What's sure is that a happy person doesn't need your attention (he enjoys your attention, of course, but he doesn't depend on your attention).
Attention is needed, but a happy person knows to feed himself attention, being attentive to his life, feeling creative, creating his life.. He has a fun life...

Not so with babies... babies need their mother's attention. That's good. Because attention is needed for the baby to evolve into a human...

The problem appears in your life when you can now give yourself attention, when you can be creative on your own and create your life as you want....

What happens when you can give yourself attention but you refuse to do it and keep acting like a baby needing mom's attention?

You act like this person you've described..

You cannot do anything about him... He has the choice about what to do with his life...

You can do much about yourself instead..

You fell into the trap of thinking that you can do something about him. That you can control him. You cannot.

If you knew this thing, then you would let him and watch him there happening... besides other things which happen also.. birds, music, people, your breathing, your thoughts, your moves .. etc...

Let him be... Because if you let him be, your attention will not be flowing towards him... (do you think he cares about what kind of attention you give to him?..negative or positive?... he needs attention:P)

...and if he cannot have your full attention, he will feel repelled by you. So everyone wins:)))

Refuse to control him... that's the way...
