what have people found to be the best pump and filters to run a small stream and fountain?
I also have found that Blagdon pumps to be very reliable having had one for 7years. If you are only going to have have
a stream and fountain you could power it with a timer switch and remember a power breaker is a must. Best to have it fitted by an electrician. As far as the filter is concerned get your plastic pieces (from your local aquatic shop or warehouse depending where you live). Dont just put them in your filter box loose, put them into an onion bag got from your local greengrocer and just tie the end up. This makes for easier cleaning. When the filtered water gets dirty dont throw it away put it on your plants in your garden it makes excellent food for your plants. Hope this helps and good luck.
