What is a good pet water fountain?
Is Catit very good? Drinkwell? Etc..? Which do you like?
I had several Pet Mate fountains from Walmart, and they each lasted about a year before breaking down. They were relatively inexpensive ($20-30) and easy to clean and maintain. I liked the clear water reservoir, so you could see how much was left. Now I have a Drinkwell. I have had it for a few months and am happy with it, but it is not as easy to clean as the PetMates were and doesn't have the clear reservoir. I've never heard of Catit.
I love having a fountain for my cats - the water stays clean for a few days at least and the cats love the running water.
Tip: don't put it on the floor - it will have dirty/hair in it in an hour. I keep mine on my desk - the cats jump up to drink, and it stays much cleaner.
