Thank you so much for everyone's suggestions... I had two nights where I was able to sleep through the night, and two where she only got me up once and then settled much more quickly than in the past. The things that seemed to have worked are feeding her at night instead of in the morning, trying to keep her up during the day, and playing with her more often... one of the things that had kept me from being as interactive with her as I'd like to be was that she's kind of bitey and kicky when she plays. At the pet store, I found a huge leopard-print mitten (it looks like an oversized oven mitt) and it's allowed me the opportunity to play with her for a significantly longer period of time. I was also given the suggestion (haven't tried it yet - I'm going least restrictive first) of something called "Comfort Zone," some sort of calming aromatherapy for cats. Hopefully I won't need to go that route, but wanted to pass it on to others since you've been so helpful to me. Thanks again!
I tried most of that! even feliway... and my female cat is a night-noise machine after she got kittens ( kittens are 7 weeks now)
I got tired and now I send her to time out to a different bedroom inside a spacious cage, I hope she learns her lesson now and maybe after the kittens are gone she'll be back to normal
