Are DMH Tabby cats generally act up, crazy like?
She is not quite full tabby. She does have the M marking on her forehead. She is grey/stripes/spotted black or darker grey. Her tail is long and striped on one side. She has a white bib and tummy and paws. She does have large ears than normal. Could she be part Osciacat. The cat they breed to look wild like? She is so much into hunting down things in the apt. Very territorial over her CatCondoTree.
She does retrieve toys I toss onto it or in the cubby hole and brings them back to me or down to the floor. She likes to keep it clear of objects. She is never an outdoor cat and she is neutered/fixed.
About 6 months old right now. She does not like catnip, ignores it. How can I tame her down some?
Probably not an Ocicat, even a mix. Ocicats are a relatively new breed and there aren't many of them running around, and those that are out there are mostly kept indoors, as the kittens are expensive and many owners show them. So no, I don't think your cat is any bit Ocicat!
Your cat's behavior just sounds like normal cat to me. Cat personalities come in all different shapes and sizes, even within a breed. She sounds like she's exhibiting normal cat, especially kitten, behaviors.
She probably appears spotted because she had one tabby parent and one solid parent. On most animals, coat colors are determined by both genes that they carry. So she might bear the colors and marks of a tabby but the solid gene washed it out a bit.
