To collar or not to collar?
My Heidie is mostly an indoor cat, we have a cat door as she prefers to go toilet outside and if we’re not home she can get out if needed, she can’t jump fences so she is secluded to the backyard only with my dog...I’ve always had a safety clip collar on her, more so for the bell in case she temps the birds (she hasn’t yet) and so i can hear her..... she recently lost her 2nd collar this year, and im wondering should i maybe not have one on her, or is better to have a bell.... she is micro chipped also in the case she does go missing...just hate to think how it came of in first place!
Also i asked a question earlier regarding collars & that Cafe Mocha person labelled me as being cruel and not caring for my cat!! Hmmm wtf!

Kandy, Heidie cannot and wouldnt jump the back fence, 1 shes too scared and 2 she has a sore back from yrs back when my ex hurt her (he was charged & court made him pay me $10,000)
hi ashie firstly you are by no means cruel... i think that if your cat is micro chipped then it will be ok without a collar on.. the collar will act as a warning to birds but even this does not always work.. my cats have collars and bells but will always catch a bird... so if you are not comfortable letting your cat have a collar then dont.. nothing wrong with that hun x
