Eco Nap
How can I loosen my curls ?? /Eco styler gel ?

I'm Black but my hair isn't kinky but it's curly but I don't have naps...
I had scurl for about six months until my hair looked like mjs in his early years
but I like how my hair patern was when before it got longer.I went to sallys to buy the Eco styler gel and everytime I use it it dosnt look any different what am I doing wrong ? I haven't got a hair cut since January and now it June

Eco styler doesn't loosen your curl lol! It just has hold. All it is is gel. The reason so many people like it is because it's cheap!

It will keep your curl pattern pretty much the way it looks naturally and wet (which I'm fine with. I love my 4a coils and wouldn't have them any other way!) all it does is prevent frizzing like any other brand of gel would.

Are you applying it to wet hair? Do you rinse out all of your conditioner?
I wash my hair and leave in a lot of conditioner when I rinse (I also detangle with a wide tooth comb or my fingers while the conditioner is in). Then, I get out the shower and apply leave in conditioner to my hair. I shingle the gel through my hair and spritz with water while I go. Then I'm done. It just prevents frizz for me. I honestly recommend learning to love your curls for what they are instead of trying to loosen them which will just cause damage to your hair anyways!
