What's the best toy dog breed to have as a family pet?
I'm thinking about getting a toy dog 
Maybe one that enjoys long walks, is obedient, doesn't bark alot, and is easily trained. But what toy dog is like that? is there one toy dog breed that is very intelligent etc? thanks. x
I have an older sister in her 20s, an 18 year old bro, and I'm 14.
I'd pick a Doberman or a Rottweiler, they have a reputation that exceeds them, and proves them to be aggressive dogs, remember it's the people not the dog.
They are actually very loving, protecting dogs that are great for companions. I'm 15 and I grew up with a rottweiler not to mention I'm getting on of my own and I'm only 15. Alot of people use rottweilers for therapy dogs, because they are so loving, and dobermans alike. Although, these dogs do have a risk of health issues just keep good care of the dog, with regular vet check up's and good healthy food.
Alot of small "toy" dogs have the same chances to bark as a large breed.
pretty much every breed enjoys long walks, not just small ones.
Dobermans and Rottweilers are very intelligent, and is why alot of family's have then, or they work in professions such as police, and therapy dogs.
