Cat and Rabbit pet problem?
I have this little dwarf lop black rabbit, and she was sold and brought back to the shop and she beat the hell out of a guinea pig. So then I bought her. Recently our dog has taken an intrest to her when in her cage and yesterday I was swapping rooms with my sister and the dog was growling and scraping the cage with his paw. Now she won't come down from on top of her cage. I've tried stroking but it looks like her hearts beating very fast and I tried giving her a carrot this morning and left her alone but she still hasn't touched it. I don't know what to do, will she be okay in a few days?
Second, I have a four year old cat who still suckles. I mean, if she lays on your stomach he suckles, like he would as a baby. Has this happened to anyone else's cat before? The vet said it's nothing to be worried about but it's still weird isn't it.
For your rabbit you might want to separate her from the dog and give her extra care. If she still isn't better after a few days then you can try to get her out of her cage. If she comes then you can pet her and give her some treats, like carrots, and put fluffing or soft stuff in her bed. I hope she's alright. P.S. I have the exact same rabbit as you.
