last night i had a dream that i was outside (whenever i dream about a place eg- my school, my house, etc, they're always different buildings than in real life and different in each dream) my house playing in the sunshine, when all of a sudden a small grey/brown bunny came up to me. his fur was sort of like cheetah print. then a small black dog came up, too, and his hair was the same, but black. and lastly a cat again with the same print, but a brownish white.
i was very suprised because rabbits are often the shyest out of the three when approaching someone.
anyways, i then picked up each three to show my mom, but they all ran off when i tried to.
sorry it's so short but what does this mean?
what's with the patterns on all the animals?
why did they run from my mom?
and why are buildings never the same in real life or in any dream twice??

This is a lovely dream! It is enjoyable just as it is, without any deeper meaning.
The buildings in your dreams are not meant to be the actual buildings from real life. Sometimes they are just settings, like the props on a stage, to let you know "this dream is at school," or "this dream is at the mall."
Other times, the buildings represent something much more abstract. For instance, your home often represents your life, with different rooms representing areas of your life, like nurture, rest, music, the future, etc. So even though you "know" the place is your home, it won't look anything like your actual house in real life.
Back to your dream: the cheetah pattern might have appeared on the animals simply because you like cheetah designs. This dream could be nothing more than a fun story made up by your subconscious out of things that you enjoy. Or, because cheetahs are very swift, the pattern might suggest the fleeting nature of the animals - or childhood - or springtime - or whatever. Your mom represents your adult self, that part of you that knows what should be done, and wants to enforce rules, etc. So perhaps the animals represent your younger, childhood self, which is swiftly (like a cheetah) fading as you become more mature. If the animals represent your child self, that explains why they run from your mom / mature self.
