Why is my cat all the sudden, using my tub for a litter pan?
Adult, altered female, given a clean bill of health by vet 1 month ago. Now just randomly pooping in the tub. I clean her pan every day, have not changed litter brand. Is it possible for a Maine coon to just loose it's mind?
If she's old, she could have feline senility..there are drugs that may help her-ask your vet.
I would make sure the litter box is washed and clean or buy a new one--plastic is hard to get really clean after a while. Make sure to wash and refill with fresh litter every week or two.
She could be suffering from some sort of stress and meds such as prozac might help.
