Why does my new cats poop odor smell SO HORRIBLE?

We have had other cats and none have been this bad at all doesn't even come close. It's like not a regular smell it's like a real bad smell. I have bought a total of 3 litter boxes now I'm in the stage of the enclosed BOODA dome even with a filter built in and have tried all the litters that are the best and still we cannot take the odor. Our cat is so good with covering it up and neat but still does not help? Please suggest something we have not tried. Thanks =)

I would take a stool sample to your vet. They can run tests for all the nasty stuff that might be causing this smell. When I brought my kitten home from the shelter, her poop smelled SO BAD for the first few days. The vet ran tests on a stool sample, but said it just smelled bad becasue of the bacteria in her that causing an upper respiratory infection.
It also might be a reaction to the food you feed. My cat right now has had terrible farts...we think it's because we're changing her food.
