How difficult is it to teach two 9 year old indoor cats to walk with a leash? i also have a 2 year old indoor?

It is very easy to teach a cat, even an older one, to walk on a leash. Just remember to start off at night or the very early morning when it is quiet outside. I think night is the best as it lets the cat be anonymous.
The nice thing about a harness/leash is that the cat can go more places. They really like to go into the tall grasses and look for mice or scratch their claws on a real tree (instead of a fake post) for a change.
It is a good thing to teach a cat if you ever need to go traveling. Cats lie down first off when a harness goes on them. Then they get up and go slinking around. Then they are so happy to go outside (not all cats want to go outside but many of them do) that they don't care about the harness or the leash any more.
Here is the cat walking jacket which makes this process easy. It is only about $20 so it is pretty inexpensive to try out.
