sleeping ferrets question?
I have had my two female ferrets for about a year now and they are completly potty trained so I want to just get rid of their huge bulky cage. I bought them two very nice cat beds that kind of look like eggs with an opening in the front because I know they want to feel sheltered when their sleeping. Will they be okay with these beds or do you think I should keep the cage because it has their hammock in it? Has anyones ferrets ever liked sleeping in pet beds outside of the cage? I just dont like only having a huge cage because they like sleeping in their hammock. Thanks! 
They never go in their cage except at night time when I lock them in there. During the day they sleep outside of their cage under my bed and the eat outside of their cage. So their only really in there when I lock them in there.
I would let them sleep in the cat beds. But keep their cage still. Put their food and water in the cage so they still use it and keep the cage open so they can freely move in and out of it. You never know when you might need that cage, so definitely don't get rid of it.
