what time of the year does a cat have kittens?
Last spring, mom cat showed up, emanciated and needing food. Her kittens were under my porch and feral before I saw them. She moved on, in the middle of the summer. Tonight she came back. Does she have another litter somewhere I need to find, or can I get her spayed this time with out any kittens getting lost? I can't tell if she's nursing, so I don't know if there is a litter.
She may have more kittens. Cats can have kittens at pretty much anytime of the year, but right now is particularly known as "kitten season."
