How can I make my cat's life better?
Well, I have a two and half year old Bengal cat named Versace and he's bored to death. I take care of him, but I don't have a lot of time in my life to play with him. I don't know how I can him happy. He hasn't seen another cat for about a year and a half and he's neutered. I don't want to give him up, I just want to make him happy.
You could try to get him a new playmate but if you don't have time for him now you definitely won't have to help him get used to a new kitten.
Many cats thrive on having a big cardboard box to play in. If you can afford it, you can get him one of those large scratching post/habitrail/jungle gym devices. Put the occasional cat treat on it somewhere and then watch him explore it himself.
Yes, our cat is perennially bored stiff. We gave up trying to amuse her as she just isn't interested, so if you can find something that works, let everyone know. Maybe we'll try it!
